Youth

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. " Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Youth Ministry Purpose:  To Nuture and to strengthen our Youth in the Godliness of Christ. To guide, to protect, to encourage and to lead.

First, we want to help our Youth become disciples of Jesus. We want to continue to lead them to Christ, but, of course, we aren't going to stop there. As it says in Matthew 28, we want to teach our Youth to obey everything that Christ commanded. We want to see our Youth become disciples. This means that we won't stop until our Youth are helping their friends, siblings, and younger kids in the church become followers of Jesus Christ and then be able to mentor others students to become disciples of Jesus.

Youth Advisors:  How do we accomplish our goals?  The answer is to center on our youth by meeting to discuss what's vital and integral in raising up the next generation of leaders in the church, which is our youth. When you commit to being a youth leader, you commit to being a mentor, who will help our Youth to grow spiritually.
